George Mason University is currently accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This accreditation covers all graduate and undergraduate programs offered by the University, including the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, the Master of Science in Global Health, and the Bachelor of Science in Global Health.
The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) first accredited the Mason MPH program in 2013. In 2018, we were reaccredited for a seven-year term, extending to December 31, 2025.
In 2018, the Bachelor of Science in Community Health was added to our CEPH accreditation, making Mason the first academic institution in the Commonwealth of Virginia to offer a CEPH-accredited undergraduate degree. In 2019, the Master of Science in Global Health was accredited.
