Global Health Research

Our global health faculty investigate existing and emerging global health challenges with the aim of reducing health disparities everywhere, particularly in resource–poor countries. Specific areas of research include global health epidemiology, infectious disease epidemiology, maternal and child health, vector-borne diseases, gender-based violence, migration and health, and reproductive health. Our faculty have conducted field research in Kenya, Haiti, Mongolia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe and work with a range interdisciplinary collaborators to prepare and respond to emerging global health challenges.
