Admissions

Thank you for your interest in the College of Public Health at George Mason. The College's Office of Student Affairs processes all second-gate applications to our Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is responsible for graduate program admissions for most College departments. This site will provide information regarding our academic programs, application guidelines, and information sessions.

To request information or to register your interest in any College of Public Health degree program, contact Mason’s central Office of Admissions. We strongly encourage you to do this so we can provide you with better service and keep you informed about upcoming events relevant to your program of interest.

Visit Mason

We encourage all applicants to visit Mason in order to become familiar with our dynamic campus. The Mason website offers a number of resources for students and parents planning to visit campus. Please note that campus tours are not coordinated through the College of Public Health. All tours are offered through Mason’s central Office of Admissions. We encourage students to schedule a campus visit online or contact the Office of Admissions directly at 703- 993-2000.

BSN Information Sessions

Prospective students are strongly encouraged to attend a BSN information session for their program of interest. At the end of each presentation, students have an opportunity to meet briefly with an advisor to answer any specific questions they may have. Register for an upcoming BSN information session.

Virtual Prospective Student Hours

The College's Office of Student Affairs offers virtual prospective student hours via Zoom every Wednesday between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Due to the volume of prospective students, advisors can only meet briefly with students, approximately 10 minutes. Please review the information on the website and come prepared to the meeting with your specific questions.  On the day of the event, please visit this link to reach the Undergraduate Admissions team. Please be patient because participants will be answered on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait time will depend on the number of participants.
