Wayne Adams is the Senior Academic Affairs Coordinator for the College of Public Health. He is a proud alumnus of Mason, earning his master’s degree in higher education in 2016. Mrs. Iqra Hamayoun is the Health Information Systems MAP Clinic Coordinator in the Department of Health Administration and Policy. Hamayoun also serves as the Clinical Informatics Data Manager and HAP Preceptor for the Mason and Partners (MAP) Clinics, Population Health Center, and special projects operating through the college. Ms. Kelly Beckwith is the Assistant Director of Academic Programs for the Department of Global and Community Health. Ms. Karen Brown is the Director for the Northern Virginia Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at George Mason. Amy Burke, MSN, RN, is the RN Clinical Specialist for the Mason and Partners (MAP) Clinics. She has worked at George Mason in the nursing labs, as a clinical instructor, and coordinating clinical and preceptorship placements for nursing students since 2009. Chomitz is focused on advancing the PhD program and providing graduate students the resources they need to become leaders in public health science. Ms. Lisa Climer is Assistant Director of Practicum Education in the Department of Social Work. In this capacity, she advises graduate and undergraduate students entering practicum, teaches field seminar courses, and collaborates with community agencies and faculty to support and develop field placements and partnerships.
