Biography

Ms. Kara Hoisington is an adjunct professor in the College of Health and Human Services. Hoisington’s research interests include systematic barriers to accessing health services and how to address them. She has a high interest in how political and social powers affect health outcomes. Hoisington is a recent Mason alumna and has experience working in local health departments and as a graduate assistant for the university.
